RAJ Turquoise Hoop Earrings

Inspired by the ancient Egyptians, these funky hoop earrings have loads of character. These hoops are large, but surprisingly lightweight and easy to wear. Their simple design will make these your new everyday earrings. This pair features two lovely Arizona Turquoise stones. Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth. For thousands of years, Turquoise has spanned all cultures, prized as a symbol of wisdom, nobility and the power of immortality. Among the Ancient Egyptians, Persians and Chinese, Aztecs and Incas of South America, and Native North Americans, Turquoise was sacred in its adornment and for power, luck, and protection.

I design all of my pieces to look like ancient artifacts with a modern twist. These earrings are made using the lost wax casting process and cast in either recycled .925 sterling silver or bronze. They hang from either sterling silver or gold filled ear wires. Gold filled wire is great for people with sensitive skin and lasts a very long time!
